Account information — your email address when you create an account or sign in with Apple
Baby profile information — your baby's name, date of birth, sex, gestational age at birth, and known allergies. This information is used solely to personalise safety ratings and growth charts within the app.
Scan data — products you scan, including barcodes and ingredient lists
Allergen logs — allergen introduction records, dates and any reactions you log
Growth measurements — weight, length and head circumference measurements you enter
Feeding logs — feed times, sides and volumes you record
Product contributions — photos and ingredient information you submit to improve the Cubi database

Monitor app performance and fix bugs
Comply with legal obligations5. How We Store Your Information
Your data is stored securely using Supabase — a cloud database platform. All data is encrypted in transit using TLS and encrypted at rest.
Baby profile data, scan history, allergen logs and growth measurements are stored in our secure database and are accessible only to you through your account.
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal data will be deleted within 30 days.6. Third-Party Services
Cubi uses the following third-party services to operate:

We do not share your personal information with these services beyond what is necessary to provide the app's functionality.7. Children's Privacy
Cubi is designed for use by parents and caregivers. The app stores information about babies and toddlers under 2 years of age as entered by their parents or guardians.
We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. All baby profile information is entered by and accessible only to the parent or guardian who created the account.
If you believe we have inadvertently collected information about a child without parental consent, please contact us at [email protected] and we will delete it promptly.8. Medical Disclaimer
Cubi provides general ingredient information and safety guidance for educational purposes only, based on publicly available guidelines from WHO, AAP, FSANZ, TGA and ASCIA.
Cubi is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice. The information provided should not be used as a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Always consult your paediatrician or qualified health provider for specific health concerns about your baby.9. Push Notifications
Cubi may send you push notifications for:
Allergen introduction reminders
Product recall alerts for products in your pantry
Growth logging reminders
You can disable push notifications at any time through your device settings.10. Your Rights
You have the right to:
Access the personal information we hold about you
Correct inaccurate information
Delete your account and all associated data
Export your data
Withdraw consent at any time

We retain your personal data for as long as your account remains active. If you delete your account:
Your personal information will be deleted within 30 days
Anonymised, aggregated product contribution data may be retained to improve the Cubi database
Crash logs are automatically deleted after 90 days12. Security
We take the security of your data seriously. We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures including:
TLS encryption for all data in transit
Encryption at rest for all stored data
Row-level security ensuring users can only access their own data
Secure authentication via Supabase Auth and Apple Sign In
No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this policy and, where appropriate, notifying you through the app.
